Property Manager, Lat Purser & Associates
Lauren joined LPA in 2015 after coming from JLL, where she helped manage both the EpiCentre for three years and 101 Independence Center. Her experience with these complicated facilities has given her in-depth knowledge about building systems, tenant relations, safety, customer satisfaction, and many other positive skills. At LPA, Lauren has worked hard to establish positive relationships with tenants who previously felt neglected by other managers. We currently have a 98% collection rate and a high renewal rate.
Lauren is extensively involved in many property renovations, in excess of $10M throughout her portfolio in Charlotte and Charleston. Projects range from roof replacements, HVAC replacements, and full BAS upgrades, to a brick by brick removal and replacement of the facade on an 80,000 SF office building in the historical district in Charleston.
Despite her difficult portfolio and workload, Lauren also makes the time to help out the department and offer guidance and advice to her fellow PMs on day to day best practices, budgeting, lease administration, and financial reporting. Lauren is always willing to help anyone in the office, whether it be in our department, or to review the language and review financials of a new deal with leasing. Lauren is a true leader in the workplace.
As if that isn’t enough, Lauren also joined the company culture club, which aims to promote synergy through fun and fellowship, and sponsors events throughout the year. When Lauren joined, we started involving more people from the office and having fun events, such as the LPA Fantasy Fixin’ League, where people competed for head to head in a cook-off of various BBQ sides. Her programs have gotten more people involved in the office events and has brought employees closer together in good fun. One day, Lauren even showed up with Bojangles for the entire office, just because!
Lauren is a true property hero!
